The Bream Lodge Story…

In July 2018 we were approached by an existing client confirming that they wanted to purchase an accommodation business and wanted to get advice from JSP on the best way to do this.

Darryl Jess, advised them to set up a new company and Family Trust and away they went.

The settlement was in September 2018 and our clients have never looked back.

Bream Lodge is an accommodation venue in Johnsonville, on the way to Lakes Entrance, not only do they get visitors utilising their accommodation when on the way to Lakes Entrance but they now cater for Melbourne city schools because they want to take advantage of the beautiful lake right at their doorstep.

WHAT OTHER SERVICES DID JSP HELP WITH?

Given these clients had a small business previously it was never big enough to need someone to attend to their bookkeeping and BAS’s. They asked JSP to do this on their behalf.

We had a short one on one training session on how to create sales invoices using Xero. Using Xero they are now STP compliant and they have live Profit and Loss reports which can be viewed anytime or provided to the bank with a click of a button.

For me personally, they are “star clients” at holding up to their end of things.

WHAT DO THEY NEED TO DO AND AND HOW MUCH TIME DO THEY NEED TO SPEND?

Well…. If you have a smartphone and can take photos that’s all you need to be able to do… we have set them up with an app called Receipt Bank, so all they need to do is take photos of their receipts via this app and the rest is taken care of by JSP. EASY right!! But that is literally it…
